Our history
Community Impact Partners (CIP) began in 2008 with our Swingshift and the Stars (SATS) annual fundraising event. We became an official 501(c)3 in 2017, and have helped raise more than $4 million dollars for 122 nonprofit organizations with 15 seasons of SATS, which celebrated its finale event and final season in 2022.
We are now focused on bringing music to the older members of our communities in Michigan. We know, and research proves, how important music is and can be to maintaining mental health, fighting memory loss and increasing your overall quality of life.
We have also created Swingshift and the Jars, (Judy's Academy of
Random (S)heroes or, or more easily said....JARS) that consists of a small group of women that come together and donate into a fund that is awarded to a member of our community that would benefit from a small give.
Our mission
At Community Impact Partners, we develop innovative and creative programs and experiences that bring hope and healing using the power of music and performing. We work with community organizations, other nonprofits, and individuals to put the fun back in fundraising.
